All CERAMIC RESTORATION

The manufacturing process of the final restoration over the zirconia abutment depends on the type of final all ceramic restoration (Lava, Procera, e-max or generic zirconia coping). Prep abutment as outlined in part preparation section. For a pressed ceramic restoration like e-max, wax a conventional coping, invest, and press in the desired shade and go to step 6.
1.
To create a zirconia coping for a "press to" or traditional "bake to" restoration it is necessary to prepare and  scan the abutment according to the coping manufacturers recommendation.
2.
Procera: Remove the abutment from the mastermodel and screw the abutment on to the scan holder, block out the screw access hole of the abutment. Mount the set up in the scanner.
Lava:

3.
