Torque Wrench
Two prosthetic torque wrenches are avilable from BioHorizons®. A
single torque setting (30Ncm) "break" style wrench (catalog # 300-430)
with a square tool bit receptacle and a multi torque setting (15, 20, 25,
30, 35, 40, 45, 50, 60Ncm) wrench (catalog # ATW) also with a square
tool bit receptacle.
Hex Driver, 0.050 (1.25mm)
Hex drivers intended for torque wrenches are offered in two lengths short
(catalog # 300-350) and long (catalog # 300-351). Latch type drivers for
surgical motors are also produced in two lengths, short (catalog # 134-350)
and long (catalog # 134-450). A manual laboratory hex driver (catalog #
135-351) is available in one length only.
AS123 Hand Unit
The AS123 Hand Unit (catalog # 300-100) may provide improved vision and
easy access to prosthetic components in posterior regions of the mouth.
A 1:1 gear ratio allows for prcise operation and the square tool bit
receptacle works with any of the square tool bits. Operated with the hand
or torque wrench. Hand wrench and drivers must be purchased separately.
Hand Driver, Ratchet and Hand Wrench Extender
The hand driver (catalog # 300-400) serves as a manual handle for any
square tool bit and the AS123 Hand Unit. A extender (catalog # 300-205) may
be utilized with the hand driver, torque wrenches and the AS123 Hand Unit.
Analog Handle
Analog handles are machined to match the coresponding implant/abutment
interface platform. Abutments are screwed to the handle to facilitate easy
preparation of the abutments. Three different handles are produced for the
external hex system. One for for 3.5mm platform abutments (catalog #
293-100), one for 4.0mm platform abutments(catalog # 294-100) and one for
5.0mm and 6.0mm platform abutments (catalog # 295-100).

preparation of the abutments. Two different handles are produced for
internal hex implant systems. One handle for 3.5mm and 4.5mm platform
abutments (catalog # PYGAH) and one for 5.7mm platform abutments (catalog
# PBAH).
Simple Solution Abutment Analog Handle
Simple solution abutment analog handles mimic a installed simple solution
abutment regardless of the implant system used (Tapered Internal, Internal,
Single-stage). Each handle is color coded in compliance with the platform
color coding scheme yellow (3.5mm), green (4.5mm), blue (5.7mm) and each
end of the handle represents either the 4mm or 5.5mm height abutment. The
catalig number for the 3.5mm platform handle is SYRLT, 4.5mm platform SGRLT
and the 5.7mm plaform handle catalog number is SBRLT.
Reamers
Reamers are utilized to remove the retaining, snap on lip of the burn out
coping after casting. Each platform diameter requires its own specific
reamer. Reamers are color coded for easy platform identification yellow
(3.5mm), green (4.5mm), blue (5.7mm). The catalog number for the 3.5mm
platform reamer is SYCR, 4.5mm SGCR and the 5.7mm platform reamer catalog
number is SBCR.
A insert seating tool (catalog # BCIST) and a reamer (catalog # BCR) to adjust retention of the nylon inserts are offered to service ball attachment components.
