Torque Wrench
Two prosthetic torque wrenches are available from BioHorizons®. A
single torque setting (30Ncm) "break" style wrench (catalog # 300-430)
with a square tool bit receptacle and a multi torque setting (15, 20, 25,
30, 35, 40, 45, 50, 60Ncm) wrench (catalog # ATW) also with a square
tool bit receptacle.
Hex Driver, 0.050 (1.25mm)
Hex drivers intended for torque wrenches are offered in two lengths short
(catalog # 300-350) and long (catalog # 300-351). Latch type drivers for
surgical motors are also produced in two lengths, short (catalog # 134-350)
and long (catalog # 134-450). A manual laboratory hex driver (catalog #
135-351) is available in one length only.
AS123 Hand Unit
The AS123 Hand Unit (catalog # 300-100) may provide improved vision and
easy access to prosthetic components in posterior regions of the mouth.
A 1:1 gear ratio allows for precise operation and the square tool bit
receptacle works with any of the square tool bits. Operated with the hand
or torque wrench. Hand wrench and drivers must be purchased separately.
Hand Driver, Ratchet and Hand Wrench Extender
The hand driver (catalog # 300-400) serves as a manual handle for any
square tool bit and the AS123 Hand Unit. A extender (catalog # 300-205) may
be utilized with the hand driver, torque wrenches and the AS123 Hand Unit.
Fixture Mount Implant Driver
The fixture mount driver is used to pick up the implant with the installed
3inOne fixture mount and drive the implant in to the osteotomy. Two platform
dependent ratchet drivers are produced for the external implant system. One
for the 3.5mm platform (catalog # 303-200) and one for 4.0, 5.0 and 6.0
platform (catalog # 345-200) implants. Latch type drivers are also offered
for the 3.5mm platform (catalog # 133-100) and 4.0, 5.0 and 6.0 (catalog #
145-100) platform implants.
Implant Level Driver
Ratchet driven implant level drivers are used to deliver the implant in to
the osteotomy site without the fixture mount. The fixture mount is removed and the driver
is screwed on to the implant, engaging the external hex of the implant and
the ratchet is attached to the driver. Three different platform dependent
drivers are available, 3.5mm (catalog # 153-000), 4.0mm (catalog # 154-000)
and 5.0/6.0mm (catalog # 155-000) platform. Each driver is color coded for
platform diameter identification, yellow 3.5, green 4.0 and blue/fuchsia
5.0/6.0.
Fixture Mount Implant Driver
The fixture mount driver is used to pick up the implant with the installed
3inOne fixture mount and drive the implant in to the osteotomy. One size
driver fits all three platform diameters. Two types of drivers are offered
for internal indexing feature implants. The ratchet operated driver catalog
number is PRA and the latch type driver catalog number is PHA.

the osteotomy site without the fixture mount. The fixture mount is removed
and the driver is engaged on to the implant and held together through
friction. Two different platform dependent drivers are available, 3.5/4.5mm
(catalog # SYGIDR) and 5.7mm (catalog # SBIDR) platform. The latch type
driver catalog numbers for 3.5/4.5mm platform implants is SYGIDH and SBIDH
for 5.7mm platform implants. Each driver is color coded for platform
diameter identification, yellow/green 3.5/4.5 and blue 5.7mm.
