Camlog and Conelog® ABUTMENTS
Camlog
Camlog implants and components are distributed through
Henry Schein®
in the USA.
Fig. 1
Straight titanium Esthomic® abutments are machined with a sloping
collar design and color coded in compliance with the Camlog platform
identification scheme yellow 3.8, red 4.3, blue 5.0 and green 6.0mm. No
Esthomic® abutments are offered for the 3.3mm platform diameter. The
sloping collar is designed with the lowest point of the slope to coincide
with one of the cams (spurs) of the indexing feature. Two collar heights of
1mm and 3mm (measured at its lowest point) are available for each abutment.
A final screw is included with each abutment.
Separate abutments intended for the
platform switching technique are
produced with only one sloping collar height of 1mm for 3.8 (yellow), 4.3
(red), 5.0 (blue) and 6.0mm (green) platform diameter implants. Platform
switching abutments may only be used for SCREW-LINE implants with a implant
catalog number starting with a "K". These abutments have no markings to
identify them as platform switching abutments.
Fig. 2
Narrow emergence profile abutments are machined with a sloping collar
height of 1.5mm at its lowest point and 2.8mm at the highest point of the
slope. These abutments are offered for all five platform diameters and
screws are included with each abutment to make a complete kit. Narrow
emergence profile abutments work in conjunction with cylindrical and
bottle neck healing abutments in situations with limited mesio distal space.
Fig. 3
Universal titanium abutments are produced without a pre machined collar
for all five platform diameters. These abutments may be milled for
telescopic restoration designs or used as a bulk abutment for free hand
carving.
Universal abutments for the platform switching technique are only
available for 3.8, 4.3, 5.0 and 6.0mm platform diameters. Platform switching
abutments are marked with the letters "PS" on the abutment and may only be
used for SCREW-LINE implants with a implant catalog number starting with a
"K".
Fig. 4
Angled titanium Esthomic® abutments are machined with a sloping
collar design and color coded in compliance with the Camlog platform
identification scheme yellow 3.8, red 4.3, blue 5.0 and green 6.0mm. No
angled Esthomic® abutments are offered for the 3.3mm platform diameter. The
sloping collar is designed with the lowest point of the slope to coincide
with one of the cams (spurs) of the indexing feature. Two collar heights of
1mm and 3mm (measured at its lowest point) are available for each abutment.
The angle of the abutment is machined in two versions of 15 and 20 degrees
either away (type "A") from one of the cams (spur) of the indexing feature
or with a 60 degree offset towards one of the cams, identified as type "B".
A final screw is included with each abutment.
Fig. 5
Separate angled abutments intended for the platform switching technique
are produced with only one sloping collar height of 1mm for 3.8 (yellow),
4.3 (red), 5.0 (blue) and 6.0mm (green) platform diameter implants.
Platform switching abutments may only be used for SCREW-LINE implants with
a implant catalog number starting with a "K". These abutments have no
markings to identify them as platform switching abutments. Angled
titanium platform switching abutments are only offered with a 1.5mm collar
as a 15 degree type "A" and type "B" abutment.
Fig. 6
Logfit® titanium abutments intended to be installed
by the surgeon or restorative dentist and impressed with the
abutment
level impression technique are machined with a non sloping collar and
available in two collar heights of 0.8 and 1.5mm. These abutments are
offered for four (3.8 yellow, 4.3 red, 5.0 blue, 6.0 green) of the
Camlog platform diameters. Three flat sides machined in to the
abutment provide antirotational stability for the cementable restoration.
Fig. 7
Ceramic abutments are produced as a three component system. A color
coded titanium implant/abutment interface, the zirconia abutment sleeve
and the fixation screw. The titanium base and the zirconia sleeve need to be
bonded together after the zirconia portion is prepped since the fixation
screw seat is designed in the titanium interface. A 2mm non sloping collar
common to all Camlog zirconia abutments may be prepped with a
diamond to conform to individual patient tissue contours. Zirconia
abutments are fabricated for all five platform diameters of the Camlog
implant system. The titanium base and the zirconia portion may be purchased
separately or as a set including the screw.
Fig. 8
UCLA cast on abutments consist of a machined gold implant/abutment
interface and a plastic tube (Polyoxymethylene) processed on to the gold
interface. Only engaging cast on abutments are produced for all five
platform diameters and the Polyoxymethylene tube is color coded for
platform diameter identification.

Fig. 9
Straight titanium Esthomic® abutments are machined with a sloping
collar design and color coded in compliance with the Conelog® platform
identification scheme yellow 3.8, red 4.3 and blue 5.0. No
Esthomic® abutments are offered for the 3.3mm platform diameter. The
sloping collar is designed with the lowest point of the slope to coincide
with one of the flat sides of the indexing feature. Two collar heights of
1.5mm (Fig.9, top row) and 3mm (Fig.9, bottom row) (measured at its lowest point) are available for each abutment.
A final screw is included with each abutment.
Fig. 10
Narrow emergence profile abutments (Fig.10, top row) are machined with a sloping collar
height of 2mm at its lowest point and 3.3mm at the highest point of the
slope. These abutments are offered for all four platform diameters.
Universal titanium abutments (Fig.10, bottom row) are produced without a pre machined collar
for all four platform diameters. These abutments may be milled for
telescopic restoration designs or used as a bulk abutment for free hand
carving.
Fig. 11
Angled titanium Esthomic® abutments are machined with a sloping
collar design and color coded in compliance with the Conelog® platform
identification scheme yellow 3.8, red 4.3 and blue 5.0mm. No
angled Esthomic® abutments are offered for the 3.3mm platform diameter. The
sloping collar is designed with the lowest point of the slope to coincide
Fig. 12
with one of the flat sides of the indexing feature. Two collar heights of
1.5mm (Fig.11, left collum) and 3mm (Fig.11, right collum) (measured at its lowest point) are available for each abutment.
The angle of the abutment is machined in two versions of 15 (Fig.11, top row) and 20 degrees (Fig.11, bottom row)
either away (type "A", Fig.12, left) from one of the flat sides of the indexing feature
or with a 60 degree offset towards one of the flat sides, identified as type "B", (Fig.12, right).
A final screw is included with each abutment.
Fig. 13
UCLA cast on abutments consist (Fig.13) of a machined gold implant/abutment
interface and a plastic tube (Polyoxymethylene) processed on to the gold
interface. Only engaging cast on abutments are produced for all four
platform diameters and the Polyoxymethylene tube is color coded for
platform diameter identification.
Ceramic (zirconia) abutments are not offered at this time for
the Conelog® implant system.
