Camlog and Conelog® HEALING ABUTMENTS

Healing abutments are produced in three configurations for platform
switching and non switching applications (Fig.1). Platform switching healing
abutments are only suitable for Camlog® implants with catalog numbers
starting with a "K". The platform switching healing abutments are marked
with the letters "PS". Each abutment is color coded in compliance with the
prevailing color coding scheme of the Camlog® system. Silver (no color)
represents the 3.3mm platform, yellow 3.8, red 4.3, blue 5.0 and green
denotes the 6.0mm platform. Abutments are designed as a mono block,
incorporating the abutment body and the screw in to a single entity.
A 0.050”- 1.25mm hex driver is utilized to hand tighten the abutments.

Cylindrical healing abutments (Fig.2, top row) are machined with the same diameter as
the corresponding implant and do not flare. 3.3mm platform cylindrical
healing abutments are available in two heights of 2 and 4mm while all other
platform diameters are offered in three heights of 2, 4 and 6mm.
Cylindrical healing abutments for platform switching (Fig.2, bottom row) are machined 0.5mm
smaller than the implant platform diameter and without flare. 3.8, 4.3, 5.0
and 6.0mm implant platform abutments are available in three heights of 2,
4 and 6mm. No platform switching abutments are offered for 3.3mm platform
implants. Platform switching healing abutments are marked with the letters
"PS" on the abutment and may only be used for SCREW-LINE implants with a
implant catalog number starting with a "K".

Wide body healing abutments (Fig.3, top row) are designed to flare 1mm wider than the
platform diameter of the implant. 3.3mm platform wide body
healing abutments are available in two heights of 2 and 4mm while all other
platform diameters are offered in three heights of 2, 4 and 6mm.
Wide body healing abutments for platform switching (Fig.3, bottom row) are designed to flare
1.5mm wider than the abutment/implant interface diameter of the abutment.
3.8, 4.3, 5.0 and 6.0mm implant platform abutments are available in two
heights of 4 and 6mm. No platform switching abutments are offered for 3.3mm
platform implants. Platform switching healing abutments are marked with the letters

Bottle neck healing abutments (Fig.4, top row) are created with a constricted diameter
opposite the implant interface for advanced tissue manipulation during the
healing phase. 3.3mm platform bottle neck healing abutments are available
in one height of 4mm while all other platform diameters are offered in two
heights of 4 and 6mm.

opposite the implant interface for advanced tissue manipulation during the
healing phase. 3.8, 4.3, 5.0 and 6.0mm implant platform abutments are
available in two heights of 4 and 6mm. No platform switching abutments are
offered for 3.3mm platform implants. Platform switching healing abutments
are marked with the letters "PS" on the abutment and may only be used for

Healing abutments are produced in three configurations and each abutment
is color coded (Fig.5) in compliance with the prevailing color coding scheme of the
Conelog® system. Silver (no color) represents the 3.3mm platform,
yellow 3.8, red 4.3 and blue denotes the 5.0mm platform. Abutments are
designed as a mono block, incorporating the abutment body and the screw in
to a single entity. A 0.050”- 1.25mm hex driver is utilized to hand tighten
the abutments.
