Ankylos® C/X

Ankylos® C/X implants are machined from grade 2 titanium with a parallel wall geometry. A outside thread pattern consists of progressively deeper threads towards the apical of the implant and squared thread edges. Surface roughening is achieved through a proprietary process called "Friadent® plus". The surface of the implant is grit blasted, followed by immersing the implant in hot acid.

The internal tapered connection dimensions are machined to the same parameters regardless of the implant diameter, making abutments theoretically interchangeable from one implant diameter to the next. Older Ankylos® implants were produced without indexing feature and are designated as "C" type. New Ankylos® implants are manufactured with a exiguous indexing feature, designated as "X" type. Indexed prosthetic components are not compatible with the older "C" type implants but non indexed prosthetic components are compatible with "X" and "C" type implants (Fig.1).

Four implant diameters (Fig.2) are offered for this implant system. Each implant diameter is color and letter coded on the individual implant packaging. 3.5mm diameter implants are coded red and the letter "A", 4.5mm diameter implants are coded yellow and the letter "B". 5.5mm implants are coded blue and the letter "C" while 7.5mm implants are marked green and the letter "D". 3.5, 4.5 and 5.5mm diameter implants are available in five lengths of 8, 9.5, 11, 14 and 17mm (Fig.3). Only 7.5mm diameter implants are not offered as a 17mm length version. Implants are packaged with an already installed fixture mount and a separate cover screw.

Frialit® plus

Frialit® plus implants are machined from grade 2 titanium with a stepped taper geometry and outside threads. Surface roughening is achieved through a proprietary process called "Friadent® plus". The surface of the implant is grit blasted, followed by immersing the implant in hot acid. A internal hexagon serves as the indexing feature for prosthetic components. The indexing feature dimension differs from implant diameter to implant diameter and prosthetic components are not interchangeable from implant diameter to implant diameter. Five implant diameters in in five possible implant lengths are offered for this implant system. Each implant diameter is color coded for identification. 3.4mm (gray) and 3.8mm (yellow) diameter implant are produced in three lengths of 11, 13 and 15mm while 4.5mm (blue) and 5.5mm (red) diameter implants are available in four lengths of 8, 10, 13 and 15mm. 6.5mm (green) diameter implants are machined in lengths of 10, 13 and 15mm. The implants are packaged with a pre mounted fixture mount and separate cover screw. Frialit® and Xive® S implants share the same prosthetic components.

Xive® S

Xive® S implants are machined from grade 2 titanium with a slightly tapered geometry and outside threads. Surface roughening is achieved through a proprietary process called "Friadent® plus". The surface of the implant is grit blasted, followed by immersing the implant in hot acid. A internal hexagon serves as the indexing feature for prosthetic components. The indexing feature dimension differs from implant diameter to implant diameter and prosthetic components are therefore not interchangeable from implant diameter to implant diameter. Five implant diameters in in six possible implant lengths are offered for this implant system. Each implant diameter is color coded for identification. 3.0mm (brown) diameter implants are offered in three lengths of 11, 13 and 15mm. 3.4mm (gray) diameter implant are produced in five lengths of 9.5, 11, 13, 15 and 18mm while 3.8mm (yellow) and 4.5mm (blue) diameter implants are available in six lengths (8, 9.5, 11, 13, 15, 18mm). 5.5mm (red) diameter implants are machined in five lengths of 8, 9.5, 11, 13 and 15mm. The implants are packaged with a pre mounted fixture mount and separate cover screw. Frialit® and Xive® S implants share the same prosthetic components.

Xive® TG

Xive® TG implants are produced with the same, slightly tapered body geometry and titanium grade 2 material as the Xive® S product line. The "TG" system implant is machined with a integral, square external indexing feature primarily designed for ball attachment over dentures, over denture bars and screw retained restorations, although single unit restorations are possible to a limited degree due to limited single unit prosthetic offerings. A 3mm machined collar separates the surface treated area of the implant from the platform of the implant. Three color coded diameters (3.4 gray, 3.8 yellow and 4.5mm blue) in six possible lengths are offered. 3.4mm diameter implants are available in five lengths of 9.5, 11, 13, 15 and 18mm while 3.8 and 4.5mm diameter implants are manufactured in one additional length of 8mm. with a 3mm machined collar.
