Legacy™ (I, II, III)

Each of the abutments in the Legacy™ product group is packaged with a screw and sold as a kit with the abutment. The screws for 3.5, 4.5 and 5.7 platform abutments are silver colored and interchangeable from platform to platform. Screws for the 3.0mm platform abutments are light blue in color and work only within the 3.0 platform.

Straight contoured titanium abutments (Fig.1, left collum) are machined with a sloping collar and a choice of two collar heights (1, 2mm) for each of the four platform diameters in the Legacy™ system.

Angled contoured abutments (Fig.1, middle collum) are angled at 15 degrees in relation to the flat side of the hexagonal indexing feature. Available in two sloping collar heights of 0.75 and 2mm for each platform.

Straight abutments (Fig.1, right collum) intended for the abutment level impression technique are produced with a non sloping collar and offered in three possible collar heights of 1, 2 and 3mm for each platform diameter.

Zirconia abutments (Fig.2) are made with a pre bonded, titanium nitrate plated titanium interface in three angulations (0, 8 and 19 degrees) and two collar heights of 1 and 2mm. The collar is designed in a sloping fashion just like titanium contoured abutments.

UCLA (cast to) abutments (Fig.3) are manufactured with a gold interface and plastic sleeve. Engaging UCLA's are available for all four platforms but non engaging UCLA's are only offered for the 3.0, 3.5 and 4.5 diameter platforms.

Each of the abutments in the "Re" product group is packaged with a Dual-Grip™ screw and sold as a kit with the abutment. The screws for 4.3, 5.0 and 6.0mm platform abutments are charcoal colored and interchangeable from platform to platform. Screws for the 3.5mm platform abutments are also charcoal in color and work only within the 3.5mm platform.

Straight contoured titanium abutments (Fig.4, left collum) are machined with a sloping collar and a choice of two collar heights (1, 2mm) for each of the four platform diameters in the "Re" system. The lowest point of the sloping collar is machined in relation to one of the lobes of the indexing feature. 30, 60 and 90° offset abutments are machined with the lowest point of the sloping collar offset to the degree indicated.

A 60° offset collar abutment (Fig.6, top) has the lowest point of the collar exactly between two lobes for example, compared to the regular sloped abutment which has its lowest point directly above one of the lobes (Fig.5, top). Offset slope, straight abutments are produced with a 2mm collar only.

Angled contoured abutments (Fig.4, right collum) are angled at 15 degrees in relation to one of the lobes of the indexing feature (away from the lobe).

Available in two sloping collar heights of 0.75 and 2mm for each platform. 30, 60 and 90° offset angled abutments are not angled in the direct opposite direction (180°) of one of the lobes but offset to the degree indicated. A 60° offset angled abutment (Fig.6, top) is angled towards one of the lobes for example compared to the regular angled abutment (Fig.5, top) which angles away from the lobe.

Offset angled abutments are produced with a 2mm collar only.

SwishPlant™ (SwissPlant™)

Each of the abutments in the SwishPlant™ (SwissPlant™) product group is packaged with a screw and sold as a kit with the abutment. The screws for 4.8 and 6.5mm platform abutments are silver colored and interchangeable from platform to platform. Screws for the 3.7mm platform abutments are light blue in color and work only within the 3.7 platform.

Straight contoured titanium abutments (Fig.10, left collum) are machined with a sloping collar and several platform dependent collar heights. 3.7mm platform abutments are offered in collar heights of 1 and 2mm. 4.8 platform abutments are available in collar heights of 0.5, 0.75 and 2mm while 6.5mm platform abutments are machined with a 0.75mm collar only.

Angled contoured abutments (Fig.10, right collum) are angled at 15 degrees in relation to the flat side of the hexagonal indexing feature with a sloping collar. Several platform dependent collar heights are available for this system. 3.7mm platform abutments are offered in collar heights of 1 and 2mm. 4.8 platform abutments are available in collar heights of 0.5, 0.75 and 2mm while 6.5mm platform abutments are machined with a 0.75mm collar only.

Straight abutments (Fig.11) intended for the abutment level impression technique are produced with a non sloping collar and offered in four possible collar heights of 0.5, 1, 2 and 3mm for 3.7 and 4.8mm platform diameter implants only. O collar height straight abutments (Fig.11, bottom row) do not cover the outside bevel of the implant like any of the other abutments but utilizes the outside bevel of the implant itself as the finish line (margin) of the cementable restoration. Available as sets, including the abutment, impression coping, comfort cap and screw for 4.8 and 6.5 platform implants only.

Zirconia abutments are curently not available for this system. Future development of zirconia abutments is a possibility though. Contact your Implant Direct sales representative.

ScrewPlant®, ScrewPlus®
Abutments are packaged with a screw and sold as a kit with the abutment. The screws for all four platform (3.7, 4.7 5.7, 6.5mm) abutments are silver colored and interchangeable from platform to platform.

Straight contoured titanium abutments (Fig.13, left collum) are machined with a sloping collar and a choice of two collar heights (1, 2mm) for three platform diameters (3.7, 4.7, 5.7mm) only and the lowest point of the slope corresponds to one of the flat sides of the hexagonal indexing feature.

O collar height straight abutments (Fig.14, bottom row) do not cover the outside bevel of the implant like any of the other abutments but utilizes the outside bevel of the implant itself as the finish line (margin) of the cementable restoration. These abutments are produced only for 4.7, 5.7 and 6.5 platform implants.

The angulation of the angled abutments is designed in relation to one of the flat sides of the indexing feature (hexagon) and the collar is designed in a sloping fashion with the lowest point of the slope coinciding with one of the flat sides of the hexagon.

UCLA (cast to) abutments (Fig.16) are manufactured with a gold interface and plastic sleeve. Only engaging UCLA's are available for all four platforms.
