Genesis

Genesis Esthetic contour TI abutments are anodized with a pink color and machined with a sloping collar, available in straight and 15° angled versions. Abutments are offered in several emergence profiles in compliance with established emergence profiles of healing abutments and impression copings. Each abutment is packaged with a final screw as a kit.

Straight titanium 3.8mm implant diameter abutments are offered in two emergence profiles of 4mm (Fig.1) and 5mm (Fig.2). 4mm emergence profile abutments are machined with two (1, 2mm, Fig.1) collar heights and 5mm emergence profile abutments are also available with two collar heights (Fig.2) of 1mm and 3mm.

No dedicated zirconia abutments are available at this point for Genesis implants. PrimaConnex® Esthetic Contour ZI abutments maybe suitable for Genesis implants since the TiLobe™ implant/abutment interface is machined to the same exact dimensions in respect to the correlating implant diameter (3.5/3.8, 4.1/4.5, 5.0/5.5/6.5).

SureConnect™ abutments (Fig.5) are intended for posterior restorations to be impressed with the abutment level impression technique. Each abutment is anodized with a pink color and without any implant diameter identification scheme. A number printed on the abutment indicates the emergence profile of the abutment at hand. A black line 1mm from the top serves as a reference marker in case the abutment needs to be shortened to create enough room for the final restoration. Abutments are machined with a flat side and a notch through the abutment opposite the flat for antirotational purposes. Kits including the abutment, screw, impression coping, analog, burnout coping and temporary coping are sold by Keystone or available a la carte.
3.8mm implant diameter SureConnect™ abutments are produced in one emergence profile of 5mm and four (1, 2, 3, 4mm) collar heights. 4.5mm 5.5mm and 6.5mm implant diameter abutments are offered in two (5, 6mm) emergence profiles each and four (0.5, 1.5, 2.5, 4mm) possible collar heights.

UCLA (cast on) abutments are machined with a gold implant/abutment interface and a plastic tube processed to the gold portion. Available as engaging (Fig.6, left) for custom abutments and single screw retained crowns or non engaging (Fig.6, right) for splinted multi unit substructures. The plastic tubes are color coded for easy implant diameter identifcation green (3.8mm), blue (4.5mm) and fuchsia (5.5/6.5mm). UCLA's are packaged with a final screw to complete the kit.

PrimaConnex® Esthetic contour TI abutments are titanium nitrate plated and machined with a sloping collar, available in straight and 15° angled versions. Abutments are offered in several emergence profiles in compliance with established emergence profiles of healing abutments and impression copings. Each abutment is packaged with a final screw as a kit.
