Keystone (Lifecore) IMPRESSION COPINGS

Genesis

Fig. 1

Genesis impression copings are color coded in compliance with the implant platform color (green 3.7, blue 4.5, fuchsia 5.5/6.5mm) coding scheme. Direct and indirect fixture level impressions are carried out with the same impression coping whereby the indirect impression procedure is carried out with the include short fixation screw (Fig.2, left) and direct impressions are performed with the also included long screw (Fig.2, right). Each impression coping is available in three different emergence profiles (Fig.1). A zero emergence profile impression coping, matching the implant/abutment platform

diameter is common to all three platform diameters. 3.7 impression copings are offered in two additional emergence profiles of 4.0 and 5.0mm and 4.5 platform impression copings are available in two additional emergence profiles of 5.0 and 6.0mm. 6.5/5.5 platform impression copings are produced in two emergence profiles of 5.0 and 6.0mm. The impression copings are machined in a symmetrical geometry and can be repositioned in to the impression material in two ways with either one being correct.

SureConnect™ abutment level impressions are carried out with implant/abutment platform color compliant, plastic snap on impression copings. Each plastic coping is produced with a inside flat and notch corresponding to the flat and notch machined in to each SureConnect™. 3.7mm (SD, green) platform impression copings (Fig.3, left) are available in one

version and 4.5mm (RD, blue) copings are offerd in two diameters, correlating to the two available emergence profiles (5.0mm Fig.3 middle, 6.0mm Fig.4 left) of 4.5mm implant/abutment platform SureConnect™. 5.5/6.5mm (WD, fuchsia) copings are also offerd in two diameters, correlating to the two available emergence profiles (5.0mm Fig.3 right, 6.0mm Fig.4 right) of 5.5/6.5mm implant/abutment platform SureConnect™.

Prima™

Fig. 5

PrimaConnex® impression copings (Fig.5) are color coded in compliance with the implant platform color (green 3.5, blue 4.1, fuchsia 5.0mm) coding scheme. Direct and indirect fixture level impressions are carried out with the same impression coping whereby the indirect impression procedure is carried out with the include short fixation screw (fig.6, left) and direct impressions are performed with the also included long screw (Fig.6, right). Each impression coping is available in three

different emergence profiles. A zero emergence profile impression coping, matching the implant/abutment platform diameter is common to all three platform diameters. 3.5 impression copings are offered in two additional emergence profiles of 4.0 and 5.0mm and 4.1 platform impression copings are available in two additional emergence profiles of 5.0 and 6.0mm. 5.0 platform impression copings are produced in two emergence profiles of 5.0 and 6.0mm. The impression copings are machined in a symmetrical geometry and can be repositioned in to the impression material in two ways with either one being correct.

Quick-Abutment abutment level impressions are carried out with implant/abutment platform color compliant, plastic snap on impression copings. Each plastic coping is produced with a inside flat and notch corresponding to the flat and notch machined in to each Quick-Abutment. 3.5mm (SD, green) platform impression copings (Fig.7, left) are available in one

version and 4.1mm (RD, blue) copings are offerd in two diameters, correlating to the two available emergence profiles (5.0mm Fig.7 middle, 6.0mm Fig.8 left) of 4.1mm implant/abutment platform Quick-Abutments. 5.0mm (WD, fuchsia) copings are also offerd in two diameters, correlating to the two available emergence profiles (5.0mm Fig.7 right, 6.0mm Fig.8 right) of 5.0mm implant/abutment platform Quick-Abutments.

PrimaSolo® implants do not have any dedicated impression copings.

Authors note: Although Genesis and PrimaConnex® fixture level impression copings have different catalog numbers, platform specific impression copings are interchangeable between the two implant systems. The same holds true for abutment level impression copings of the SureConnect™ and Quick-Abutment impression copings.
